I’m a bit of a blind follower but I kind of thought the Christmas album was genius? Like, all these happy shiny Rat Packy background vocals and then he’s all gross and scratchy. I forget which review it was, but it described his version of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” as more of a threat than a promise.
