if you’ve studied art or been to fashion school, then you’ve no doubt seen tons of projects inspired by alice’s adventures in wonderland. i admit, one (or more) of my finals was based on alice and her adventures through the rabbit hole, simply because it gives you liberty to design whatever you like. alice is no doubt a free spirit, she was adventurous before her adventure and certainly wiser, stronger and bolder when she awoke. i think everybody imagines alice’s style as girly, imaginative and freeing. she’s not afraid of color (or much else as we learned in her story) and has no concern over what other people think. after all, her style icons are the mad hatter, that crazy rabbit and the hookah smoking caterpillar.
