Slow - Twin Shadow

I really don’t understand people (usually much younger than me, oddly enough) who say there is not a lot of great music out there these days.  

I am constantly annoyed by the fact that I don’t have time to listen to everything I’d like to give a proper listen to.

Case in point - Twin Shadow.  I was recommended this by my bestie who is staying with me at the moment and I immediately did a tumblr search and found that quite a few of my favourite tumblr people have been recommending it for ages and I’ve never had the time to follow up.

Yet another reminder to press that damn play button - you never know what brilliant tunes you may be missing out on.

Liking this lots; only just realized a few of their songs have been hiding out in my iTunes library yet to be listened to. I’m finally getting around to giving King of the Beach a spin (I know, late to the game, whatever) and compiled an excellent playlist of never-before-heard treats thanks to the fine folks at Thanks Captain Obvious. So much awesome music to listen to all the time, life is good.
