“Harrier” by Fiona Banner.
I’m sure this image has already been making the rounds, but I just had to post it because I’m in awe. Seeing this gives me similar feelings to what I had when I went to Dia:Beacon in upstate New York, which also houses some enormous pieces of art. There’s just something about putting an object that seems impossibly big into a room, and this one in particular is just amazing and wonderfully surreal. I want to see this (and its companion piece) in person so badly, especially after seeing this photo.
