so how expensive is parking in Singapore?
the latest Global Index by Coliers reveals that Singapore at $225 parking fee per month, was not within the Top 50 but closer to the Top 100 in the world. (Singapore did not make it in this chart at parking rates of $225/mth, but u get the idea).
Several factors drive parking rates high in central business districts. First, the lack of space puts pressures on the availability of parking slots. Providing parking space is thus expensive. Second, demand for parking space is higher in central areas with financial cities having higher parking rates than other cities, in part because of a larger pool of drivers able to afford personal parking spaces. London is the most expensive city in the world to park into.
