The Like - “Wishing He Was Dead”
It’s cute, it’s so retrofab it hurts: one of these sinister upbeat songs. You’re bopping your head to the sound (the darling harmonies, tamborine) until you realize she’s singing when I am through with him, he will be wishing he was dead.
Teaming up with Mark Ronson and Alex Greenwald (Phantom Planet) - the Like takes on a distinctly 1960s, girl group sound in their second studio album, Release Me. Despite the throwback feeling of this record - I like that the love stories are dealt with a modern twist; grittier and sometimes even smutty lyrics.

I want one of these peeping animal teacups by Ange-line Tetrault. Each one has an animal that reveals itself the more you sip, but hopefully not slurp! I would be afraid I would chip my tooth though.
It’ll actually be quite fun to serve an opaque drink to guests, and see their reactions when they see the animals emerging… hahahaha =p
